Well, I think it isn't related with help in building but I haven't found other forum to request help.

My server is vulnerable and it's being flooded by a gang of noobs. They use q3infoboom which is turned on multiple times (it works for them because my upload/connection speed is low). As you probably know, q3infoboom sends so much packets to the server to shutdown/crash it. (I am not able to place a screenshot)

Hello.

Have you tried updating your Lugormod version? I see you're using the oldest one which is available.

Unfortunately, it didn't work. Well - after I updated the lugormod version my server just crashes without any reason... When the map changes. More and more frequently the "qconsole.log" appears in GameData/Lugormod than when I used U# 2.3.2

thx, I will test it as fast as I can...but...hmm...if I see correctly teh jampded.exe isn't patched... it probably won't work, of course if there's no any super/special cvar in server.cfg

Umm... idk how to help you, actually. I've never had any problems with that. In fact, i tried it once. It just crashed me, and not the server lmao. I just did a quick search for patches, and apparently there is one, but the main website is down, so idk where to get it. Sorry. Crying or Very sad

Not sure, it was just a link to some altervista webpage, which is down.

Edit: After another quick search, i found a generic fix, but it doesn't always work. Go ahead and try it if you want. My over-sensitive antivirus freaked out when i tried downloading the file, but its probably just fine, it just looks like a virus to some antiviruses. [Link]

Woah, I've noticed that if I use /banhost .com /banhost .ru and /banhost .pl only 10% of packets reaches to the server.
Is it possible to make a script that automaticly uses these commands if clients send too many packets to the server (and ex. after 60 seconds bans delete automaticly)

I don't recall making any fuss on any forum regarding ruski flood. You don't need to recall that single incident everywhere where's an opportunity, what's the point if it's solved for good (thx to my host, which began to block frequent udp requests after my support petition)

Point me there, where did I write about making some fuss on any forum. If it happened once - I would be quiet. But because it happened multiple times I cannot keep myself quiet.
It's just kinda strange that AS A SERVER'S HOSTER you were raging and qqing after being flooded. But as a servers' flooder you're glad that you can show your pr0 h4ck1ng t00lz and "unload" your energy on doing it.

P.S. I hope this thread will not spill over into a flame.

I'm not flooding any server nowadays, only some people who digged their own grave by messing with me.

Lol dude that ruski flood happened to be exact, twice - both incident in one day, at 1st time I was afk and didn't notice, at 2nd I noticed and did /banhost .ru but since it was only a temp measure (people can use proxies etc) I asked the host to block too frequent getstatus udp requests, it's been doing the trick till today.

Ah so if someone messes with you you start flooding them until you won't get bored of doing it. I would solve the problems in more normal way.

Okay, now count all the floods. You have personally told me, that sometimes you feel (By the ping on server) ruskies' flood. Maybeh I didnt understand you properly, idk.

My boredom doesn't expire so fast, but both these guys who are your acquaintances and whom I guess we're talking about as my supposed victims - they're no longer in my interest, I feel they paid enough prize for messing with me

My host had issues during whole august, kinda crappy quality back then (frequent lag spikes, no access to ftp) - this had nothing to do with the server itself. This affected not only me but other clients as well. They're official statement was that they had been ddosed (lame excuse as always)
